The Moynihan Presidential records consist primarily of correspondence.  The topics of the correspondence included exchanges with the General Education Board regarding the accreditation of the College of St. Thomas and salary disputes with faculty members.

Moynihan collection document the time period he was President of the College of St. Thomas, 1933-1943.  The papers include subject files that cover the various professional organizations Moynihan belonged to and his role in keeping St. Thomas accredited.  The files also touch upon the Naval V-12 program that was on the campus during the war and campus improvements such as new buildings. This collection contains correspondence and subject files primarily from the years James Shannon was president of the College of Saint Thomas (1956-1966).  The records document both the operation of the College of St. Thomas and St. Thomas Academy as well Shannon’s interaction with regional and national educational organizations.

The Fr. John F. Dolphin Records include correspondence received and sent by John Dolphin during his presidency at the College of St. Thomas (1899 - 1903) and some materials relating to his service as Army Chaplain at Fort Snelling (1888 - 1893).

The Cullen Presidential records consist of one file of correspondence.  The topics of the correspondence included exchanges with the General Education Board and the University of Minnesota regarding the accreditation of the College of St. Thomas.
