Anti-Catholic Campaign Collection
Scope and Contents
This artificial collection containing Anti-Catholic campaign material was compiled by faculty, staff and students of the College of St. Thomas during the 1960 presidential campaign. The collection includes anonymous "hate" mail and pamphlets and ephemeral literature focusing on the careers of Alfred Smith, Democratic Presidential candidate in 1928, and John F. Kennedy, plus reviews of anti-Catholic books, and doctrinal and controversial literature.
