Abstract

The Veterans History Project, sponsored by the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress, has as its goal the collection and preservation of stories of wartime service. From 2003 through 2011, undergraduate students in Professor Joseph Fitzharris’s introductory history classes participated in the collection process for this project.

Arrangement Note

The collection is arranged alphabetically by the name of the veteran interviewed.

Technical Access Requirements

Playback equipment for the AV portions of the collection may not be available in the repository.

Method of Acquisition

The materials in the collection were given to the Libraries in several donations from 2003 through 2011.
