Thomas Edward Shields Papers
The Thomas Edward Shields papers consist of a typescript entitled "Daily Thoughts" dating from 1887. The essay was written while Shields was a student at the St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary (a precusor to the College of St. Thomas).
Lady Gregory Autograph
One autograph card signed by Lady Gregory addressed to the bookseller and publisher Elkin Mathews dated July 5, 1903.
Irish Theatre Program Collection
This artificial collection of Irish theater programs was assembled by the staff of the Department of Special Collections. The collection combines programs given to the department as well as those found among other departmental collections.
Catholic Pamphlets Collection
The Catholic Pamphlets Collection is an artificial collection of published pamphlets on a variety of topics related to the Roman Catholic Church. The bulk of the collection dates from the period of the 1930s through 1950s but some material dates through the 1980s.
Veterans History Project
The Veterans History Project, sponsored by the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress, has as its goal the collection and preservation of stories of wartime service. From 2003 through 2011, undergraduate students in Professor Joseph Fitzharris’s introductory history classes participated in the collection process for this project.
Frank Zucco Papers
The collection contains newspaper clippings and scrapbooks documenting college football teams, including the College of St. Thomas, and the achievements of Frank Zucco, 1932-1936.
