Biographical or Historical Information

The Actors Theatre of St. Paul was established as a professional equity theatre by founder and artistic director Michael Andrew Miner in 1978.  The company performed for seven seasons in the Foley Theater on the campus of the College of St. Thomas. With the aid of several grants, the company became moderately successful in the early 1980’s. In 1984, the troupe moved to larger quarters on West Seventh Place in downtown St. Paul. Actors Theatre went out of business in 1990.
