Biographical or Historical Information
The Office for Mission (formerly the Office for Mission and Diversity) was created in 2001. The dual functions of the office are to reinforce the Catholic identity of the university and foster positive diversity on campus. This administrative unit also directs several related efforts on campus including strategic planning, Welcome Week activities and the Charitable Giving program.

The records were transferred from the Office for Mission to the University Archives in 2010.
