Biographical or Historical Information

The Aquinas Foundation was established in 1990 as a nonprofit religious and educational foundation at the University of St. Thomas.  Administered by the university chancellor, it provided grants to support projects and studies that involved religion, ethics, and values.  The foundation’s primary purpose was to advance Catholic education, with a particular concentration on strengthening the Catholic nature of education at the University of St. Thomas.
