Biographical or Historical Information
Fr. Karl Wittman attended the Nazareth Hall Seminary (1935 - 1941) and the Saint Paul Seminary (1941 - 1946). He was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Saint Paul / Minneapolis on June 8, 1946. After serving for two years at the Basilica of St. Mary, Fr. Wittman became an instructor at the Nazareth Hall Minor Seminary from 1948 to 1966. He then served a pastor St. Stephen's Church in Anoka, MN and later St. Francis De Sales Church in Saint Paul, MN until his reitrement in 1995. Fr. Wittman died in 2006.
