Biographical or Historical Information
The Committee on Central European Relief was formed in 1947 under the auspices of the National Federation of Catholic College Students. Faculty, staff, and students of the College of St.Thomas participated in this effort to aid victims of the Second World War. Funds were raised through charity collections on campus and social events like dances at the College of St. Thomas and the College of St. Catherine.
