Biographical or Historical Information
The Committee on Catholic Colleges and Universities in the 21st Century was formed by University of St. Thomas president, Fr. Dennis Dease in 1992. The charge for the group was to plan a series of activities to address a wide range of issues associated with St. Thomas' mission as a Catholic university. The committee planned public lectures, campus residencies, small discussion groups, forum and seminars for faculty, staff, students and alumni to explore this topic.
