Biographical or Historical Information
The College Life Committee was formed in at the College of St. Thomas 1955 with a focus on student activity outside the classroom and general discipline. The group's charge evolved to include: a) formulating modifications of the college statement on student rights and responsibilities and making recommendations for approval by students, faculty, and administrators; b) formulating new or revised regulations and policies concerning student conduct, athletics, and functions sponsored by college organizations; c) suggesting programs which would enrich student life and improve understanding and cooperation among the members of the college community; and d) considering matters related to off-campus housing and making recommendations to the appropriate persons.
