Biographical or Historical Information
Scott Wright arrived at the College of St. Thomas in 1968 as a reference librarian and later served as director of the O'Shaughnessy Library from 1974 to 1979. Following a Fulbright Lecturing Grant to Japan in 1979, he was appointed a full-time professor in the History department at the college. He was twice a Visiting Professor at Osaka Gakuin Junior College in Japan (1987-1989, 1993-1994) and served three terms as chair of the UST History Department.
He retired from the University of St. Thomas in 2010.
