Biographical or Historical Information
The Luann Dummer Center for Women was established in 1993. It was funded through a bequest from the estate of Dr. Luann Dummer, UST Department of English. The center's founding mission was to "foster the intellectual, spiritual and personal development of women at the University of St. Thomas." To this end, the Luann Dummer Center for Women provides educational programs, activities, and resources to University of St. Thomas students, faculty, and staff.
