Biographical or Historical Information

Walter Leo LeBeau was born in Fowler, IN, on August 10, 1901.  He attended St. Thomas Academy, Nazareth Hall, the Saint Paul Seminary and the Catholic University of America.  LeBeau was ordained into the priesthood in 1931. He taught Theology at the College of St. Thomas from 1934 - 1942 and 1945 - 1970, serving as a Navy Chaplain from 1942 - 1945.  He was most noted for his lectures in the 1950s on the theology of marriage.  Fr. LeBeau died in March 1983.
