RS3. Institutional Advancement

This collection consists of photographs and negatives taken by Robert Smolka during the period 1937 to 1940. The images document many of the buildings, events, clubs and organizations, and sports teams in existence at the College of St. Thomas at that time.

The Alumni and Former Student Photograph Collection includes photographic prints of alumni and former students of the St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary, College of St. Thomas and University of St. Thomas.

The images in this collection document the College/University of St. Thomas, Saint Thomas Military Academy (to 1965), the Saint Paul Seminary (from 1987) and the St. John Vianney Seminary.  Subjects of the images include faculty, staff and alumni, buildings and facilities, academic departments and centers, campus events and activities, and athletics.   The majority of the images in the collection were created by College/University photographers and date from 1947 - 2003.

The Class Records collection contains information on undergraduate class groups from College of St. Thomas and University of St. Thomas .  The majority of the materials in this collection were created by the Alumni Association to document class year reunions.

The Alumni Association Records includes meeting minutes, subject files and publications documenting the activites of the Alumni Association of the University of St. Thomas.

This collection includes brochures, subject files and publications documenting the activites of the Development Office of the University of St. Thomas.  Materials relating to various capital campaigns conducted by the school are also included in this collection.

The University Relations Records collection contains publications, annual reports, subject files, reports and guidelines issued by this office.

The University of St. Thomas Photograph Collection includes photographic prints which document the College/University of St. Thomas,  the Saint Paul Seminary,  the St. John Vianney Seminary and the St. Thomas Military Academy (to 1965). Subjects of the images include faculty and staff,  buildings and facilities, academic departments and centers, campus events and activities, and athletics.
